Don Steedman
Don has been mountain guiding in the Canadian Rockies for 20 years and is Nationally certified as a member of the Canadian Ski Guide Association and Association of Canadian Mountain Guides (ACMG) as an Assistant Ski Guide. Speciallizing in glacier travel, mountaineering skills, back country ski touring, crevasse rescue and teaching avalance courses, Don finds himself at one with the mountains. His passion for mountaineering is second to none. Join Don for a day of adventure and he will pass his years of experience and knowledge to you.
Marco Delesalle
Marco Delesalle, owner and operator of Great Divide Mountaineering, is an internationally certified Mountain Guide ACMG/UIAGM. This is the only internationally recognized certification which allows guides to work worldwide. As a member of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, he has been guiding for 12 years in all disciplines of the mountains including ski touring, rock and ice climbing, and mountaineering.
His enthusiasm for outdoor pursuits started when he moved to Canmore at the age of six. Marco was brought up hiking, mountaineering, ski touring and speaking French, and was exactly where he wanted to be…in the mountains. Marco is living his dream working as a guide, because of the freedom, self-expression and sheer enjoyment of meeting people from around the world.
A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labour and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursures his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing , and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself,he always appears to be doing both.
Paddy Jerome
Paddy has been guiding professionally for 8 years in the Canadian Rockies and the surrounding peaks of the Interior Ranges of British Columbia. He is a certified Mountain Guide by the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides which is a member country of the International Federation of Mountain Guides Association.
In the winter, he can be found Heli-skiing, teaching Avalanche Education Programs or sharing an Ice-Climbing adventure. During summer months he his in the mountains surrounding his home in Canmore, Alberta. Mountaineering, rock climbing and hiking trips in and around places like the Bugaboos, Roger's Pass and the classic peaks around Lake Louise and the Icefields.
